I've been in this hobby since I was a preteen and never heard of a single action gravity fed airbrush.

I stand corrected.

I've been using an Iwata siphon fed airbrush for years now with no problems even at low pressure.

I've always wanted to pick up a gravity fed one for the ease of switching out colors and perhaps tighter lines when I'm painting gaming minis.

Its an enamel wash so you can use enamel paint thinner or mineral spirits.

I purchase the bigger bottles from the hardware store.

There usually are some direction on how to do what you are asking on the package. Perhaps you could look up the MSDS fact sheet on that product as well for additional info.

Personally I've only used the traditional JB weld and I use a rag to wipe off excess that I don't want before it cures.

Glue the resin with CA or 5 minute epoxy. I would not trust Aves for glueing two halves on its own. Its great stuff for filling gaps and sculpting. If your project doesn't have to be very rigid then foamboard works great for making structure.

It sound like the fit of your part is in a bind. That might be causing the bow.

I Never had a problem with the glue you mentioned bowing parts.

Melt plastic together on the other hand, yes. That's a good thing.

You are in need of a belt sander to get that ring off.

I would recommend two airbrushes. One for general coverage of large areas and one for finer stuff.
