I do believe that it was discussed on here and other forums that the formula for Future has indeed been changed.

I am now one of the faithful to this flock. This stuff works great, and sands much easier than Magic Sculpt, which seems like sanding concrete when compared to this stuff. Is that the paste or the putty you're talking about? I've used A+B putty for years, and while I like it, it does get ...

Well, I can pretty much write Aves off my list. No online shops are willing to ship to my country :( But I did receive my magic sculpt yesterday ... tried it out on my RM Colonial Viper and compared it to the Tamiya putty I used on my F-18 and  wow .... I can only imagine Aves in action Try ...

I see that I can order the Sculpt in 4 pound quantities from a few places. Doesn't seem they sell the Paste in that quantity though, at least not that I can find.

I haven't seen "Apoxie Paste" in any online or brick and mortar store. Can you describe it a bit more to me, and/or link me to a detailed product description? This stuff sounds more like what I'm looking for.

Is it softer that Magic Sculpt, and therefore easier to work into shape? Magic sculpt seems very tough to work.

Does the Aves sand easier than Magic Sculpt? I had to sand a lot of it last night and man was it tough.

12 Volt Blinking Circuit Boards

Anyone know where I can get a ready made 12 volt blinking circuit board? All I want is a board that I can hook up 12 volt LEDs to, set a selector switch to what ever I want the blinking rate to be, and be done. Nothing more involved than that.

Bussard Ram-scoop Lighting Kit For 1/650 Ent-E

I remember that someone who's name I can't recall made some 12 volt LED circuit components to create the ramscoop effect for REL's 1/650 Ent-E kit. Anyone remember more info than me at this point? :(

I went to A.C. Moore today to check these paints out. They didn't have them, and the people that work there looked at me like I was speaking in forked tongues when I asked about them. Seems not all A.C. Moore's will carry them. :(

Yep, almost *just like* Magic Sculpt. Extremely similar in overall properties, techniques, and behavior. Now, Magic Smooth has (for me) a much steeper learning curve and can make a hideous, gooey mess real fast. But the end results for it have been worth it. I have both Magic Sculpt and Magic Smoot...

Just trace the 2 patterns onto some thick paper, then cut out using an X-Acto knife. Use the pattern in the paper as a stencil and work from section to section. I've done it that way and with practice you can paint the whole saucer in 30 minutes.

Clear Frost Spray Paint As A Flat Finish?

I experimented with this on some painted scrap parts, and to my surprise, it actually works pretty good. It gave a completely dead flat finish with no sheen of any kind without really discoloring any of the paint on the test part. Anyone else try this?
