i have a digital camera with a broken lens. the display is still good and so is the board. so the question os, does anybody have need of a 2" display?

when i do mine , after its primed, i take all the white edge off right down to the paint line. looking forward to the pics. and the wetsanding on the tile will do you well.

the polly-s product was called easy lift off and it works very well.
purple power does a good job too. and castrols superclean.

man i'd love to have the model of that mech , love those games!

usually a few to several coats over neutral gray although i have gotten eaqually good results just spraying the canopies without any base coat.

picked up some these chips in the hope of making blinking swirling wonderfulness for my models. however, zip is what i'm getting.
is there anyone out there who can give me some tips on how to start these going or a primer to read? thanks dave

i usually use tamiya's or gunze clear smoke.

Greased Lightning cleaner. takes about 10 min. also great for cleaning airbrushes etc.

ive used the amazing brand and it works well got it at hobby lobby.
also hit their website and bought it when they had a 40% off coupon

thanks for all the help. i bought some 202 heated the molds, put it in my newly acquired harbor freight pressure pot and it came out perfectly!
got some pics of what i casteded, will post them later this week.

my can of 200definitely says 1:1 by volume but the 202 says 100:90 by weight. im sooo confused.

you mean i've got READ the instructions? well i'll weigh it out next time.
anyway also ordered some cc 202 got my pressure pot special from harbor freight, any particular brand of dye you guys like? i am making some engines for my leif ericson style cargo ship. thanks dave

the casting is a as small cylindical object about 1/8th in dia. and about 3.5 in
long. will definitely try the mold heating but the other resin recommended is polyester,right? and i'll probably try that, but isn't that stuf really,really stinky?

i recently purchased some crystal clear 200 casting resin and am casing it in in aeromarine 25 rtv .the cc200 says 16 hour cure time, but it still comes out of the mold quite sticky and droopy. am i doing something wrong? should i try a different clear resin? help me obi-wan konobi, you're my only h...

just started to give vacuum forming a go this weekend. poor first results
believe as you prastic no hot enough. did find some websites that seemed helpful will post url's when i find them again.

here is a photo of new sanding tool i thought of. it works nicely wet sand, and the sanding media i use is a foam backed sandpaper made by norton. it is a battery operated toothbrush,from which i removed all the bristles and glued a piece of the norton sanding stuff. http://i238.photobucket.com/albu...

just got the aves apoxy sculpt and gotta say that stuff is incredible!
gotta try the putty next.

i use a watch crystal polishing compound (comes in a bar shape) and my polishing motor. the stuff is made to polish acrylic watch crystals and does a great job

greased lightning takes chrome off in about 10 minutes, it also is good for cleaning acrylic paint out ye airebrushe.

it seems whenever i airbrush i wind up with dust on the model.
does anyone have a good way of wiping them down or otherwise cleaning them to avoid this? thanks.
