Do you thin it with rubbing alcohol as he suggests? Or will it be fine airbrushing from a gravity feed? I also have a siphon internal mix brush would it be better to use that if I don't thin it? I don't thin it and use a gravity feed airbrush. And Kylwell is correct, sand between coats for maximum ...

I've used them. They are great for repairs (especially rear window defrosters), but I wouldn't depend on them for permanent circuits:

Try the direct page. Hit Sound, then "Other" by mousing over the logos.

Re: Anyone have an X-wing engine WAV or MP3?
I'm adding sounds to the SS X-wing I'm doing, and I'm looking for an X-wing engine sound. Even a stretched flyby I could use as a startup/shutdown file. I've found only one 'flyby' MP3 online and the apogee duration (the point when the X-wing is closest and thereby the loudest) is too short to stre...

Re: Attaching 12 volt wall wort to mad man board
If this is not a regulated wart you better check the output voltage and plug polarity first.Yakface wrote:What is the best way to do this? I bought a 12 DC volt wall wort that is rated at 300mA. How would I wire the board and wall wort together? I'm new at this.
Thanks

I would actually leave the plug on and install a jack in the model Also, make sure the wall-wart is a regulated PS - else add a rectifier circuit to your main board before anything else CD players are more tolerant of voltage variations than LED circuits, so the PS may NOT be regulated, and that sp...

I don't want to sound offensive, but why go to all the trouble (and potentially destroy something) when you can buy this ? Maybe I'm being an old curmudgeon, but rather than spend hours trying to figure something out, I can spend minutes ordering something that works out of the box. Now, get off my ...

I've had one for years, used it on all the adaptors, this one shows a proper 6V. The others vary widely. Other adaptors call themselves class 2 power source. I think thats just the radio interference regulations. Wow, that's a nice power supply. I've looked high and low for a 6V 2-3A source for a h...

Yes, this.
Granted, I wouldn't use it to troubleshoot a motherboard, but it'll get you within fractions of a volt of what you are looking for. Otherwise, when you are buying a PS, make sure the description states it's regulated.

Hm. Perhaps I was wrong then. Wouldn't be the first time. Anyway, I just thought of something: airplane servos *can* be used, *if* you are willing to virtually destroy them. If you take off the casing and remove everything that isn't a motor or a gear, then connect the motor terminals...
