Own both Eclipse BS and Revolution CR for about four years. Love em' both. And I've used both Badger and Aztek brushes before coming to Iwata.
The Rev is a little harder to clean, simply because it's nozzle is pretty friggin' lose-this-in-the-carpet tiny. But the Eclipse is easy-peasy.

I get tempted every time I see commercials for this gadget. Y'know what they say, if it sounds too good to be true...

Bonedigger's Guide to Paint Strippers
FYI, Castrol Super Clean doesn't carry the Castrol name branding anymore. It's simply "Super Clean" (sold in the same purple gallon jug)

IIRC, Tamiya aerosol cans (not the acrylic bottles) are Acrylic Lacquer paints- and I use those all the time. As Ignatz mentioned, Castrol Super Clean (CSC)will strip that off no problem. Use gloves and immerse the part in a sealed plastic container like a Sterlite shoe box. An overnight bath is usu...

I didn't like it in blue. The HLJ/SM Store pic has it done in blue, and while it *is* an excellent paint job- IMO, it's not true to how the tumbler appears in the film. I thought Aircraft Interior Black/NATO Black was a good choice for a base, now I'm not so sure. I can't answer the pre-shading issu...

As much as I do love Alclad II, it's really frustrating that their primering instructions have always been kinda nebulous. This question pops up repeatedly in every online model discussion forum I've frequented. The primer serves two functions: -to provide a smooth surface -to barrier coat the plast...

I soak my in Coke for a day. It's much safer than other chemicals you buy in the household section of the grocery store and much less expensive. Sure, might take a while longer but the results are the same and your place won't smell like the morgue. Wasn't this Busted in an episode of Mythbusters??...

Count me in for 2005, I've put off the pilgrimage to Louisville long enough. Kinda wish it wasn't during Memorial Day weekend since I'll be driving...but I couldn't make this year because it was too early and it conflicted with work. (working for a university is HELL during the month of May) Will de...
