No airbrush, and i also worried what the dullcote would do & thought of a light brush of future over the top of the dried decals.

Thanks Kylwell, Hobbytown had it sitting along side the plastic cement when their wood stuff is on the other side of the store & they usually keep their supplies seperated. thanks for the link & info.

thanks photoguy, even though the decals "look" good you never know. what is a good decal bonder to use on the decal sheet prior to dipping them in water ?

Thanks walter. can tamiya fine white primer be used with the duplicolor or krylon or does it need to be a certain kind of primer made for the krylon/duplicolor ?

I have repaired cracks in clear parts on my apollo 1/32 CSM with future after using testors clear parts cement. when it cured I dipped it in future and the crack disappeard :D

Has anyone thought of scanning the decals , then printing them on a sheet of sticker paper that has an adhesive backing ? I thing that for some decals it would be easier to print, cut and peel then stick the decal into place.

the seams i am thinking about are the small if any, gaps between the sub body and the fins. The cement may fill the gaps the first time but if not i will try the testors. I will buy some better stuff for any future projects though. :)
