Window tint = India Ink in Future. Any color you want, just make sure it's India Ink and not calligraphy ink. You want dye not pigment.

Future's not a bad option, I may try that sometime.
I've done this with a salt paste on numerous models. Here's the most beat-up one.

parts for the Badger 360 will be less expensive than for the Iwata. It's a 155 Anthem with that rotating nose. The color cup is small, but you can add one as a side feed or bottom feed. You probably will be better served with a gravity-fed Anthem. Badger stands by their brushes, as does Iwata. From ...

No problem, I just wanted to make sure we weren't talking about the two different products. FYI, I find the Tamiya flat paints are WAY too flat. I like Gunze's semi-gloss and often use the Gunze or Tamiya Flat Base to make the gloss paints a semi-gloss. The Tamiya flats are nearly chalky, in my expe...

The paint should be no problem for Future as long as it has a chance to cure before painting. All these methods are something you should test on a scrap part before your model... There's also contact cement if you can get it thin enough. It's fairly inert until you press it. IIRC the foil cement for...

The only times I've done it were for vacuforming (or thermoforming my own work). I'd build the master, attach to a base which could easily be discerned when looking at the vac piece. Symmetry is the really tricky part (as usual). For a frame and panel type, you probably still want to make a buck (bl...

Those files Kylwell linked to are good, I have a set. I'd recommend you wet-file the styrene, or it will clog the very fine grooves. These mini files with handle are also handy. http://www.modelexpo-online.com/product.asp?ITEMNO=FIL655 They also have mini diamond files, which come in handy. http://w...

With some of those you're going to need structural repair, even more than pinholes...epoxy is your first choice, superglue your second. Replacement is a good option, too.... I've used the blac, CA a number of times to fill long holes, but i'm always concerned about curing down inside. It's nice that...

I'll add more negative data just to prove I monitor discussions... I've found PolyScale's Matte acrylic is the best I've ever used and haven't used a rattlecan in ages. I take that back - I have used Testors to fix some pastel dust. For that I spray the air and pass the model through - kind of like ...
