I use the same primer as Rog apparently and have no complaints. We to lost out LHS some time ago and I have had to find other resources or sources. I am mail-ordering a lot more supplies than I used to. It takes a bit of planning and getting used to but it works.

Normal rule of thumb is enamel first then acrylic else you run the risk of the enamels lifting the acrylics. If you have had it for 10 years you would be wise to replace the seals and gaskets anyway. They tend to dry our and crack after a couple of years normal use. The first place I would look is the packing washer. If this is cracked or leaking it will often cause the splat problem you are talking about.

I bought a couple of cheap card tables and topped them with a square of left over ceramic back splash for cutting on. Check out the layout midnite and I have below, it is a very fun room.

Thank you, I sort of thought that might be the case. It seemed liked a flat surface would hold too good and not want to peel like it should.

If you use anything other than an acrylic primer of some type on vinyl all I can say is that you have been very lucky. You had to have applied it in light coats scattered over long dry times. You also may have been lucky and gotten some high grade vinyl that is not very soft. In general unless You l...

take the suggestion to try the future, i am really not even sure that will work. if that fails to work, try using Easy Lift-Off Paint and Decal Remover, this product is not as hot as some other paint removers and is designed to use with this type of product. Yes we have used this on my wife's vinyl ...
