I personnaly use to add details when all the basic shape are there. It can be really painfull for me to det...

It's interesting to see that some modeler add realy quick the details. It could be a nice subject on this forum; when to add details ? Personnaly, I do all the main frame, then I detail the model. I do that because details can make me crazy (when to stop...) and I can be really out of force to see a...

Nice! Mine looks small now; http://www.starshipmodeler.net/talk/viewtopic.php?t=78630 The Sulaco is a greatship to build, even at big size, because it's "flat" ship so storage is not really a big deal. But yours is twice longer than mine. (I speak about the space ship, of course...) Olivier

Hello all, So, I'm on holiday for one week now so I will continue my Sulaco. Working on the turret on the bottom and also the main engines (probably the hardest thing on this model because it's all round shape). I will take some pictures soon. To DavidlGreen; I really don't know when this model will...

If it doesn't work properly, I will share with an other way (Photobucket or Picasa). Is anyone have a link or a source with pics or info concerning the orig...

Some words about how it's done because my blog is only in French; The main hull is made with balsa. I like balsa because it's easy to use, sculpt,... After making all the big shape, I cover the model with Evergreen plastic plate, scrib the panel lines and details are done thanks to the pics given by...
