Re: Forum Moderation

The only way to stop such active spamming is correspondingly active Moderation.
Until that happens, the Forum is going down the toilet.

There'll be no shortage of volunteers to manage these nobs, so what's the issue?

Re: Forum Moderation

This Forum clearly no longer has active, 24/7 moderation.
There's simply no substitute for someone being able to see a New Post and to then kick it into quarantine, at the very, very least.

Re: Forum Moderation

We're here voluntarily. We catch stuff faster than you might realize. For every spam you see we've most likely deleted 3 more. We do our best but there's a limited # of us. So you need more of you. I doubt very much that you guys are lacking trustworthy contemporaries, so please recruit some of 'em...

Forum Moderation

Is there now a problem with Forum Moderation? I ask because of the obvious spamming and lack of timely response, both features seemingly unheard of, back in the day. That said, back after the Manchester bombing, bile was both posted and permitted, apparently because all Moderators were busy with Won...

If I had a hammer,
I'd hammer in the morning
I'd hammer in the evening,
All over this nob.

Hints on very fine pinstriping?

I know that there are many starships out there, especially those of a Federation bent, with some extraordinary examples of painted pinstriping. Obviously, many use decals, but I'm looking for tips on painting and, in particular, painting curved pinstripes. I have a Keil Kraft 1/72 Fowler "Showman's"...

For all those budding Klear Sheikhs out there, note that the plastic bottles can become brittle over time, under certain conditions. From SC Johnson; Thank you for your email regarding Klear. I am sorry to say that this product was discontinued and is therefore no longer available in stores. Your in...

Update for 'over here'... Johnson's Klear is disappearing off the UK shelves and, when it's gone, it's gone. It was discontinued last year. The replacement, "Pledge Multi-surface Wax" has, according to the Johnson helpline, more wax in it. Those who have tested the new stuff report that it leaves a ...
