First I'd go to your home center and ask them. Barring that I'd use carpenter's glue liberally applied to bond the plywood and clamp it so that the most contact is made let it dry , about 25 hrs and then add about six (6) coats of Polyurethane sanding between coats.

I got the white plastic models bottom of line they were a like rough but all I needed to do was work they with a very fine sandpaper or steel wool and rub it with a tack cloth and they were ready for paint. So Quality is very good enough for a static diorama.

I agree there are too many variables to take into account in making your home brew glue. If you don't know what your doing you may have to start looking for a new place to live , after you are released from the hospital.

Get some pastel fixer at a crafts store spray on light coats so the ink does not run. But be careful and work in a well ventilated place as the fixer is very odoriferous.

I would say you can do with it what you want but you will need an external; power source if you want to enclose the it or you will need to have a way to access the unit to change the battery.

That is a large LED Strobe light the large circular item on the back is a capacitor which makes the light flash by releasing the electricity all at once.

The main trick to soldering is to melt some of the solder on the tip just before you begin work it's like priming the pump. and use a solder that combine the solder and the flux unless you know what your doing. The you just work very, Very, VEry, did I say VERY slowly until you build up your confide...
