Look at a company called Madell. Their 2 in 1 stations are about double what you want to spend, but the quality is decent. The hot air pencil is handy for shrink tube or working on surface mount components, and there is a large selection of tips available for the soldering iron

Look for "detect" or "detection" switches on DigiKey or Mouser. These types of switches can be very small and usually have some overtravel on the plunger. Both NO and NC versions are typically available.
