I've used dried Basil and Oregano worked great. Seen crush up real leaf used too. But I like the herbs better because they are real small, dried leaves. :D

Check out the Hand Punches at your local craft store. I have a great pair of Fiskars 1/16 & 1/4 inch circle. And I picked up some cheap 1/2 inch circle at Michaels. Just don't try to punch through really thick stuff with the cheapos I've already broke one pair.

Does the added Future make the paint glossy? It did a little. Not really glossy. I used it with Tamiya flat yellow. And for what I'm doing the little shine was ok. You might want to try the Liquitex stuff. If your doing really small dry brushing like chips and nicks you might not notice the slight ...

I have used the Liquitex with their paint but I didn't know you could use it with Tamiya acrylics. Will have to give that a try too.

I eyeball the 50/50 mix but the big trick is mixing it well and thoughly. It's not good enough to look well mixed (we've found), mashing and folding for about 5 minutes makes sure it well mixed. Kylwell is right. I just started using it, bought it form SSM store and had no problem with it once it w...

Alot of things can affect your results with a product impatience , humidity, room temperature, oily hands. Me thinks the fist one is a common problem....

Will the Tamiya Surface Primer also stick well to resin? And what color is it? Light Grey? Grey? Dark Grey? Also, will the Surfacer stuff stick well to resin? It should. Go to the Tamiya web page and check it out. It is Light Grey. But I think it only comes in spray cans. If you are going to airbru...
