I don't think it is overkill. 3 gallons is not much for some air tools. If you pump it up to 125psi and turn it off when the motor cuts out then it would probably last quite a while for some silent airbrushing before you needed to fill the tank again. IM BACK!! well that definately seems like a plu...

i live in a town house so i realy have no other use for a compressor. when you say over kill what do you mean, psi wise, gallons for the tank, or something else. and if you have any other recomendations they would be much appreciated. btw im leaving today so this will almost deffinately be my last p...

i was surfing the internet for a good compressor and came across this. it a craftsman compressor with a gauge on it so i can lower the pressure. i can get a sepperate moisture trap and i can get it from a sears that is close to me. if any one sees any problems with this please tell me so i dont buy ...

im only back for a day and then im leaving again so i figured that i would respond before i left.
the part is not brokent of but i think that it is constricting the air flow and making my painting splattery.
so i think what i am going to do is buy one from a hardware store.

yes it is very sad it fell off a table and the thingy tha u skrew the hose into bent. so that means that i need to but a new one. i went to my lhs and asked if it was worth fixing (its a blue testors compresor with no moisture trap of psi gauge) he said no. and that i should go to a place like a har...

i got a hole bunch of these a wrote al the stuff down to calculate a resistor and then i went and lost it. #-o so do any of you people have the forward voltage, forward current and what not to calculate a resistor?

what i think i am going to want to do is put some blinking lights into a model of a tie fighter and an x-wing but sice i cant get them to work yet i dont know what im going to do. im thinking that i am just going to give up on the smt tingies and buy bigger ones. thats what i meant to do in the firs...

i dont have any pcb's im just trying to wire a smt 4060 with out one and im having some trouble. is there a place that has pcbs for smt 4060's? if so, do tell. if not and you have a suggestion on how to make it easier (besides the stuff previously mentioned) please keep in mind that i am a young mod...

i am looking to purchase a resistor wheel does anybody know of a good place to buy one?? i have looked on all the stores listed on this wonderful site and found nothing except potentiometer which wont help because the increments are not labled.

when ever i airbrush i just open a window and turn on a fan in my room.
is this enough? and if you have a solution please remember that i am in a town house meaning that i dont have alot of space (so no big fan contraptions) and i am a young modeler so no big cost solutions

great looking model i think that the water looks great, which brings me to my next question, where would you get that stuff because i have a boat model just waiting for a base of water and i think that celluclay would work great. thanks
