Personally I would go with sandpaper to about 1500 than start using different grades of polishing compounds.
Slow route as it will take some time but results are worth it, IMO.
Maestro shows it in his Dunbine video in the "Plamo Tsukurou" series.

Here is what I did for a few figures. I used real material that was soaked in a solution that my wife uses to prevent her quilt-work from fraying. The solution stiffened the material once it was shaped and held the shape. NOt sure what it was called, was a japanese product anyway. BUt similar should...

REcalling the old Battlet4ch game, I think many of the tqanks solely used Energy weapons or guass weapons(none of which have recoil).

I think same held true for "Renegade Legion" which also had many hover-tanks.

Need Lighting help(Maximillian Vlack Hole)
Hi All. I got a "Maximillian' kit from the Black Hole and would like to add lights into the Head. I know lightsheet would be the best(AFAIK), but I don't have access to it here. Any suggestions how I could give the clear part an even glow using LED's or similar. Electronics, batteries and switc...

I use 2 methods to remove stuck/worn screws. 1.) Impact screw-driver, bassically a must when working on Bikes/cars. 2.) You can also drill a hole in the screw and use a screw extractor set. Bassically another screw you insert into the worn screw but counter-threaded. So as you tighten it it will uns...

First I would start soaking it in a cleaning solution. Said that it depends on your o-rings/seals if they are teflon you can use laquer, etc. If the needle and nozzle still has paint residue I would start sanding those down and also use an airbrush cleaning kit. For hard to remove stuff I use a file...

Had a look at the DVD, needed to go through my DVD collection of the TV-Series. The Putty he uses is an Epoxy putty, it needs to be mixed/kneaded. If you check the video a bit later you see it lying on the table(white centre, blue outer ring). Again it is not ready to be used out of the package(no t...

Hard to say, without having seen the Video. Lots of putties that come in tubes. [edit] What would be the purpose of Zimmerit on an 18m Robot. Doing the Zimmerit pattern in 1/35 is tough enough, doing one in 1/100 or 1/144. Not even sure what tool/putty you would use for those scales as in those scal...
