Im still undecided about adding ribbing inside the engines. I tried using corrugated aluminum sheet and almost made a mess of everything. Nice thing is I can finish the kit and decide later if I want to add any more detail to the engines. https://sphotos-b-ord.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash4/1237174_10151...

Ok,...thats it. Im taking a hammer to that camera.

Basically I have sections of copper piping in the blanked off engines. I was just thinking maybe make rudimentary burner faces and be done with it.

The second image was a scale test shot....didnt realize the camera wouldnt focus it.

Has anyone thought of some type of memorial for him?

Like a club memorial or something like that. There has to be some way to honor the guy.

Ok I dont want to alarm anyone by you assuming Im trying to become a frankenstein, wacko chemist... But humor me, I would like to learn if there are commercially available solvents you could get in a hardware store to serve as plastic cement. Admit it,...paying 7 bucks a bottle for a few mils of sol...

Well as I said, Im finishing a Viper Mk.7. Basically Im following the box top image...so I see a lot of dark grey streaking and blast marks. I do like your info nkuzmik, so would a soldering pen do the trick, or do I need a different tool, like a dremel or something? Also you mostly see the Mark 7 f...

Well I do know plastic easter eggs will work for the upper pods, the canopy could be a clear bubblegum machine container, but the main fuselage is the stickler, and the weapon ports and thrusters may be a bit of a challenge as well.

Ok the Voot cruiser doesnt look "too" complex, but my skills are still lacking a bit. Who knows, If I complete the Voot, I may attempt The Massive.

How to model complex curved shapes?

Ok most everyone knows im a bit of a cartoon nut. So my question is this. Ive thought about building one of Invader Zims Irkan Voot cruisers, or a ship similar to that style seen on the show. But how do you model those complex shapes apart from using easter egg shapes, which only go so far. Any advi...
