If it isn't outdated should be fine.
Used to be my paint of choice.
I recommend using Polly S thinner or automotive windshield washer fluid.
Water can freeze and cause sporatic operation in an airbrush.

Just my 2 cents.

If it is a straight edge I vote with the score and snap method.
But score deeply and snap it over a sharp edge or place the score over a large dowel e.g. broom handle and press gently, work your way along the "break".

Only thing I would add is heat sinks , between the joint you are soldering and the joints you have already soldered. That and plan the work so you can move from one end or area to another so the work will cool, eg needs more time to reach melting point. Ok thats two points, heat sinks and plan the w...

My spray booth is in the basement, too far from a window to be vented. It is completely enclosed, clear plastic front panel with arm holes. The bottom is a filter to keep the dust etc out of the paint and the top is a non- vented range hood with charcoal filters. Works great for acrylics, but enamel...

Can you arrange to actually handle each of them? I have an Iwata and have worked for them at some local shows. We made a point of having one each of the most popular models out so people could pick them up and see how they felt (make sure an airhose is connected preferably with pressure on). When so...

snip Q-tips are ok for cleaning, but sometimes they are too big to reach down into the narrow areas inside an airbrush tip. Also, they can sometimes leave tiny cotton fibers inside things, to gum them up. A pipe cleaner might work better. I have had problems with pipe cleaners leaving small fibers ...

Well, my 2 ducats is, a booth 2' X 2" X 3" is 12 cu ft., with 4700 cfm fan, allowing for a 50% loss due to resistance, you would be getting 200 changes of air per minute. My spray booth is 2' X 3' X 3" and I use a 500 CFM kitchen exhaust fan with a charcoal intake filter. Of course I ...

The only input I would have is to agree with the answers already given the construction and paint question. On the 3D software check the sticky posting in the scratch building forum.
