If it isn't outdated should be fine.
Used to be my paint of choice.
I recommend using Polly S thinner or automotive windshield washer fluid.
Water can freeze and cause sporatic operation in an airbrush.

Just my 2 cents.

If it is a straight edge I vote with the score and snap method.
But score deeply and snap it over a sharp edge or place the score over a large dowel e.g. broom handle and press gently, work your way along the "break".

Only thing I would add is heat sinks , between the joint you are soldering and the joints you have already soldered.
