i will be applying it to metallic silver on the polar lights jupiter 2 how much and with what should i dillute it with and will it run down the front and sides of the saucer shape ? i also want to protect my interior details and decals the interior is a mix of both enamels and acrylics. :D

what flavor ? :D :D i tried gently rubbing with a clean cloth and some came off, but left a kinda shiney area on the light tan, i will be applying dullcoat afterwards so maybe that would get rid of any shiney spots i create. i will try that it is so slight but dark on lite shows, my wife says she do...

both are enamels, i had a little success in rubbing lightly with a clean cloth on the edge but it wants to leave a shiney area where i rub, i will be applying a coat of dullcoat afterwards so maybe that will get rid of any shiney spots.

i have some fine and ultra fine, it took at least an hour just to center my mask taking exact measurements from 8 different angles i don't want to have to redo that again :D

thanks, :D it's the polar lights jupiter 2 floor that i am working on. the deck first gets sprayed the light tan, then when that is dried mask the center to make a circle then spraythe floor dark brown and when you remove the mask you have a dark brown floor with a light tan circle in the center it'...

how about spraying light colored enamel on the surface then going back 24 hours later and respraying the surface a dark brown is 24 hours enough time for the second color to be applied safely

i have micro mask brushed it on my clear parts but is clear, so clear on clear :shock: it kinda has a blue very faint blue as it goes on but goes clear, i wish it would stay blue so i know wether or not i missed a spot :(

I agree with big-dog....bond glazing putty rules. I got a tube about 2 years ago for $3.00, and I've I've still got about 75% left. Sands easily leaves and nice surface. I want to color my wall door lines on the invaders ufo, i used testors flat white enamel it has cured for 4 days now, i want to get the dark color in the small door lines and want to be able to clean away any excess dark color easily. would an acrylic wash be best and what is the best way to thin it...

this clear part has nice recessed square pockets so i plan on filling them up so that the silver spray paint doesn't get onto the clear panes. :shock:

i want to use it for the jupiter 2 fusioncore clear part and i want to spray it to match the hull if i brushed painted the color shade would be off and i surely don't want to get any overspray on those tiny panels since they will be lit from behind. :roll:

i have a huge 24" jupiter 2 in metallic silver and the kit is vaccuform, and handling it it gets fingerprints or little smudges and they stand out, something like future would probably prevent those and little scratches in the paint to i hope

does the future bottle have a spray nozzle on it by chance ? if you use a large hobby paint brush does it leave brush marks ?
