Canopy trouble

I've never seen this before. I'm building the Imai Sky 1 from UFO (it need a lot of work) and there's a bubble in the canopy! It's about 3mm wide and I really don't know how to get rid of it. The bubble is along the front window and it is noticeable if you really look. I've considered drilling the b...

RUST ALL

It's been a while. I need help! I was tasked to "junk out" a model for a friend and someone suggested RUST ALL. Has anyone tried it? Can you shoot it with an airbrush? Does it have to painted on? And is this product worth the time and money? Thanks to all who answer these questions.

Using GOOP?

I'm getting ready to build the ABC war robot from Judge Dredd and has anyone ever used GOOP, the house hold adhesive and sealant to build vinyl kits with? I'm just curious. Seems like it would work, but would the toluene based glue eventaully melt the vinyl?

Future Floor wax question again

I read the thread on Future floor wax hoping to find an answer to my dilemma. First of all, I'm not a big FFW fan, but wanted to try it again. I've been working on a Batwing and have masked the canopy after applying Future. There will be undoubtedly goo from the masking tape (yes, it's low tack). No...

Balsa wood question

I'm helping this kid build a 4ft long Hinderburg and the frame is made out of balsa wood that's 3/8 in in thickness and are 1 and 1/2 feet long. My question is whether you can wet the wood in water to make it pliable and if you can, for how long? I have to conform the strips to make to bend for the ...

The weird grease like substance is normal. Aves is just like wonder puty that I bought 4 years ago. It's still good. As long as you keep the lids on and keep ii in a cool dry place like a storage cabinet or drawer it should last a good long time. Here's a sign that it doesn't work anymore. When you ...

So I'll be shooting at 25-30 psi. Is that too much? I'll be thinning the stuff like other paints I've thinned, right?

Mr. Surfacer 1000

I bought a bottle of Gunze's Mr. Surfacer 1000 and I'm wondering if anyone of you has ever shot it through an airbrush? I know I can hand paint it on and I kow what it does to paint brushes. I also know that you can get Mr. Surafcer in a can to spray, but I've always wondered if you could. I got som...

Can't redip the canopy in Future. The canopy is already attached to the cockpit already. I'll try some alcohol and the cotton swab. If not, I'll try buffing it out with a paper towel. Thanks.

No. I don't use CA to glue canopies, because of that reason. I'm assuming that the ammonia is reacting to the Future. I'll try polishing the canopy to see if that works. Thanks.

So that's why...Okay one more question. I've already used future on this canopy that I've already used liquid latex. I'm guessing that the fogging is due to the ammonia in the liquid latex. How do I remove the fogging?
