That's so simple it didn't even occur to me! Seriously.

Thank you for your help with this.

How would I do that, Kyle. Just modify the flashlight by running the wires up through the eyestalks?

Lighting A Farscape DRD

I purchased the 1/2 scale Hunk of Junk Farscape DRD. This kit would be so easy to light the eyes with a huge accessible body cavity for batteries. I have absolutely no electronic skills! Is there any electric kit that would work well for this and be easy to install (basically ready to go)? Thank you...

The best is Alclad II but it's a lacquer and stinks to high heaven. The best acrylic I've seen is Hawkeye's Hobbies but I just found out they're shutting down all business. Which leaves Vallejo's Liquid Gold a hard to find paint that has a very fine pigment and nice shine but little reflectivity. T...

What is the best acrylic to use for airbrushing metallic colors? The Tamiya is not fine enough and I'm having difficulty with Vallejo (I don't have access to the Air Color)in not giving me good solid coverage when thinned. I'm going to test the Vallejo tonight using isopropyl alcohol. Thanks for you...

I like MM Enamel paints but I've long ago changed to using Tamiya Fine Primer. You will love this stuff.

Brass and patina

I'm completing a fairie figure based on Tinkerbell, and I want to show the key she's lifting as brass with patina. Her hands were molded to the key and I airbrushed her body, so I don't see a way to complete the brass color without brushing. The hands to the key are very delicate to mask. http://i65...

I had the same problem, they laugh at Micro set and scoff at Solvaset. I went with PNT decals for the first Enterprise. I used the kit decals with my Scout conversion, and used thinned watery glue, then carefully cut the large decals up with a sharp blade and then lots of Micro set applications. I u...

Lighting the Lindburgh UFO

I'm going to attempt this kit for the fourth and final time (the seam between the upper and lower saucer drives me crazy), and for visual interest I opened the door with one of the aliens standing there, and added an interior light. But the light was wired to a transformer. I'd rather set up somethi...
