Yeah I see what you mean - if I tried that I just know I would get it wrong.

I'm also an Eve online player - I wish there was some sort of size scaling forthcoming from the developers for their ships - especially the capital sized ships.

How do you create the patterns for your kits - I guess you would be using a CAD app to actually draw it, but how do you determine measurements? I'm lucky because I'm using a scaled plan drawing that gives me four different views of the ship, I've blown the plan up to A2 size which will give a total ...

I know this is an old thread and all but thought I would reply anyway.

I am at the thinking through stage of building the SR2. Just getting it all sorted in my head before I take the plunge. This is my first build and as Sluis said above the SR2 doesn't look to be too challenging.
