BattleTech Cyclops Mech

Specifically designed as a command vehicle the Cyclops is a formidable addition to any mech company. The Zeus autocannon was the most powerful weapon available at the time the design was frozen and provides massive close range damage. The only part of the design that is considered a flaw is the relatively light armor for the chassis size. Due to the high speed desired in a command unit the vehicle's armor was sacrificed. This flaw stands out when the mech goes in to combat against multiple enemies.

The pilot must use there substantial close range fire power to disable any opponents quickly or the lighter armor will prove to be its downfall. CP-10s are often supported by fire support mechs whose long range weapons complement the Cyclops' Arsenal. They protect the Cyclops from ranged fire and can provide bombardment support at the commanders request.
