This vessel was a Imperial Interstellar Scout Service survey ship designed from the need to have continuing re-surveying of the 11,000 star systems of the Third Imperium. Updating maps and charts, and maintaining beacons and markers for astrogation hazards is what this ship did best. The sensor booms at the front of the ship carried sensitive densiometers and EMS arrays.

This one of the line of Traveller miniatures put out by RAFM almost ten years ago. Very good detailing, and extreme accuracy to published illustrations of the Traveller ships are standard with this ship line.
